Magazine Advert Development

After a group discussion, we settled on the idea of using an image that incorporates everything in our "Just A Day" video. This included the Little Miss Sunshine plush toy, and a drum kit where the cover is the physical "Terminal Moraine" - the name of one of our bands. The creepy looking eyes and stars also represent the hallucinations and "psychedelic" feel when high on drugs - another element of the music video as it is implied that the male protagonist takes part in drug use. Other symbols/drawings on the doodle are not necessarily seen in the music video, but just things in every day life, such as the tooth bush and mug. The doodle was done with pencil, then drawn over with black fine line The pencil was rubbed out, and the doodle was scanned into the computer. When saved as a JPEG, it was uploaded onto Photo shop, and markings/dirt were erased to create a clean image. I put this main image on the server, where Jack and Jam could also also upload it onto Photo shop to edit/colour.
